UT-Gold

The University of Tampa is a medium-sized, private university located on approximately 100 acres of prime riverfront land in the heart of downtown Tampa that seeks to deliver challenging and high quality educational experiences to a diverse group of learners. It is the school of choice for 6,200 students from 50 states and U.S. territories and approximately 100 countries. More than half of undergraduates are from Florida.

The University of Tampa’s Graduate Organization of Leadership & Development (UT-GOLD) is a group comprised of the entire graduate business student body at The University of Tampa; approximately 600 students. The student body is governed by a small group of elected officials that serve as board members to uphold the mission of UT-GOLD.

UT-GOLD strives to enrich the graduate business student’s experience at The University of Tampa and within the community through a variety of events, activities, and opportunities that are aimed at fostering relationships both professionally and personally.

UT-GOLD organizes a variety of events and activities throughout the course of each academic semester. The organization currently holds between 2-3 events each month. Events include: Speed networking events, happy hour social and networking events, sporting events, speaker series, and philanthropic opportunities within the community. UT-GOLD encourages the interface among graduate students, University of Tampa faculty and professors, and Tampa Bay business professionals.

UT-GOLD continually strives to better impact and enrich the lives of University of Tampa graduate business students as well as to positively impact the Tampa Bay community. UT-GOLD hopes to expand in the areas of community service and involvement, encouraging students to give back through their service. UT-GOLD also hopes to build strong and lasting relationships with businesses within the Tampa Bay community that believe in the value of continuing education.
